Bau Truong Cabramatta moved from Belvedere Arcade to the main street of Cabramatta in 2007.

Vietnamese communities across Sydney regularly make the journey to Bau Truong Cabramatta (our founding restaurant) for our char grilled meats, with favourites being the Vietnamese grilled pork chop, grilled beef in betel leaves, whole peach served with vermicelli salad or DIY rice paper roll wraps!

The Bau Truong Cabramatta kitchen is inspired by the street food snacks that can be found on the streets and markets of Ho Chi Minh City.

Here on our menu, you’ll find crowd pleasers such as Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake) or Pho (beef noodle soup) right beside lesser known dishes of Banh Tam (Udon-like noodles served with salad, coconut and fish sauce), Banh Tap (prawn cracker layered with rice noodles and topped with lemongrass infused sliced pork), Bun Mam (a salted fish stock broth with thick rice vermicelli) and Bun Mang Vit (bamboo shoot noodle soup with duck salad and ginger dressing).

Our salads are also a must-try, particularly the lotus stem pickled salad, the green mango salad and the classic pork and prawn green papaya salad!

By night, Bau Truong Cabramatta is a popular destination for those craving hearty home-style dishes. There’s plenty to love, from Canh Chua (sour soup) to Ca Kho To (caramelised fish).

Or for a bit of fun at the dining table, why not try our hot pots? Our selection of hot pots include Lau De (goat and preserved beancurd hot pot), Lau Do Bien (seafood hot pot) and not for the faint hearted, the Lau Mam (a salted fish base hot pot)!
